Lassa fever awareness and prevention compaign was sponsored by the Esan Association of Southern California across major cities and towns in Esan land for three (3) days in collaboration with Irrua Specialist Hospital. This event was followed by the visit by one of the executives to the U.S. who attended one of our meetings (see photo below) and address the Association about the disease.  Many towns from Ekpoma to Ewohimi, Iruekpen to Irrua, Uromi to Ubiaja, Ewu and many others were reached directly and through mass media.
